My face is ruined !!!!!!

It's official !!!

My face is OFFICIALLY ruined by the dust-bunnies in the office !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *shrieks in terror*

I've always got almost-perfect complexion but since joining this company of mine... My face has been ridden with rashes !!!

I met up with Ina and Ronghan last week for our belated birthday celebrate lunch (Ina's and mine) and both of them commented on my ruined face now.

*wails*

So now I've developed a beauty regime (which I have none in the future !) to do a Deep Cleansing face mask on weekend and a Purifying mask on wednesday.
After finishing my Deep Cleansing mask, I will use Biore Porepack on my nose to get rid of all the blackheads on it.

Oooohhh... I love to stare at my blackheads after that... Just feel a sense of satisfaction. I would like stare at the tiny strip of paper and just look at the amount of blackhead and it has got sticked on it and I would gaze at it in awe and wonder and disgust (at the amount of blackheads on my nose and cheeks).

So anyway... I find that The Body Shop's Blue Corn 3-in-1 Deep Cleansing Mask really really good...
And my Basil Purifying Mask !
I just love Body Shop... I don't know why.. Cause I feel better to apply things on my face/skin knowing that its plant based and not using lab-produced chemical and its against animal testing.

I've always believe that going au natural is the best ! :D

That's why I don't understand why people blame poppy plants for heroin abuse. I mean HELLO ! I bet the poppy has been around for gazillion of years, but its us humans that abuse what Mother Nature has to offer. And they still have the guts to blame the plants for drug abuse.

Don't blame the poppies, its the human who use poppies for drugs !

So I intend to invest quite a sum of money into Body Shop with my next pay. Going to get their Whitening Range and see if my freckles will fade.



I've read about it and it looks promising, so yeah.. gonna get it as well as other things of theirs. Maybe some lippy care or something like that.

I really need to do some damage control. I've got spots on my face ! And I've read from somewhere before that spots are developed when you're in your 20's but it doesn't appear till when you're in like your 40's or something like that. So I have to take precaution man !

Hehehe.... NOPE, it's not an excuse to go shopping... I really need it ! *innocent look*

I'm gonna miss you, ABC Market... *sniffs*

I thought I might just drop in to say some stuffs while waiting for GV's site to load so I can book my TRANSFORMERS ticket !!!!!! *screams*

TRANSFORMERS..... Robots in disguise.... *sings*

You have absolutely NO idea how much I love Transformers !!! It was my favourite cartoon when I was young... I had this serious crush on the lead robot (Which I just found out recently his name is Optimus Prime)... Which escalade till I wanna be the pink girl robot when I grow up so I can marry Optimus Prime... HAHAHAHAHAHA...

I know... I sound so wacked out... but HEY cut me some slack, I was damned young man ! lol ...

So anyway... Ya know, I just received news that like most prolly we're gonna move to Jalan Pemimpin aka Ulu of Ulu-est place on Earth. If you think Jalan Kilang Barat is bad, you should check out Jalan Pemimpin... its WORST ! I wonder whats up with my boss and the whole location that starts with "Jalan" thing.. Hmmmm..

Despite me complaining initially about this God-forsaken place... I came to realize recently that it's actually not THAT bad... ABC hawker centre is marvellous...

I mean where can you still find a healthy portion of wanton noodle that only cost $2 ?!?!?! And I've been having their meat-balls porridge for breakfast for 2 days consecutively and prolly gonna be 3 days consectively soon... hehhee

I mean okay, the porridge taste a teeny weeny bit bland (not saltish enough way) but still sweet and this is the part where it gets interesting:
* Its meatballs has been pre-fried, its not crispy but you can taste that it's been fried. And it looks like it's been fried.
* It give you a whole you-za-kuey (instead of cutting it up) which is literally a light shade of gold.

Which I have the perfect conclusion that the oil they use to fried the you-za-kuey is damned fresh and is prolly change everyday ! Cause normally when you go and buy you-za-kuey, you will notice that their oil is as black as coffee, which means that the oil is very very old and unhealthy and they didn't bother to change and which in return, gives the you-za-kuey a darker golden sorta color.

But that's not the case with this porridge store, its really very golden looking... light golden somemore... and its not very oily (compare to stores that just sells you-za-kuey)... Hmm.. I think I will add another you-za-kuey in my porridge tomorrow so I can snack on it before I eat the porridge... hhehhehee...

*scrolls back and reads* Geez, I cannot imagine I've typed up 3 paragraphs just on the porridge itself :P

Anywayyyyy.... the food here is marvellous and cheap and I think I'm gonna miss this place somehow if we do move to Jalan Ulu.

You must be wondering how I manage to conquer the whole sunlight thing ??? hehehe...

I bought my food early in the morning when Mas dropped me off work and I will keep it till lunch... Normally I can only get those food that can last till afternoon like Char Bee Hoon etc ... I only venture out to eat wanton noodles if there is no sun or its raining.

And oh oh oh ... forgotten to mention this kopitiam. There is this kopitiam opposite the Sime Darby place here... The stall that sells fishhead beehoon inside the kopitiam is no big deal, I've had better. But the drink stall sells this very refreshing homemade ice lemon tea. They literally uses their own tea and drop lemons in... I know it doesn't sound like its a big deal but its utterly refreshing, especially when I pour it into my Starbucks tumbler and it stays cold throughout the whole day after that :D :D :D :D

So before I drink, I will just shake my tumbler to mix the melted ice up and to hear the tingling sound of ice cubes.. which is a nice sound actually.. kinda relaxing... hahaha...

Its scorching hot outside and I just had my chee cheong fun with a hotdog ($1.60 !!!!)... *burps* Excuse me...

Yeah.. I'm full and I'm gonna miss the food here when we've moved... :(

Pampered Pooch !

Last week we celebrated Titus' 2nd birthday.

We missed his first birthday and hence celebrated his second instead, though we still forgotten about it :P (Actually its belated 2nd Birthday, hehehe)

Below are a series of pictures that I took, Mas painted his nose with the cream from the Carob cake that I ordered from the doggie bakery and I swear he put on weight after his birthday feast. He's a fat-dog now. Hahahaha....

Anyway I didn't manage to get a lot of different shots of him cause I was too engross looking at him eating. I mean its the first time I celebrate birthday for a dog so its a novelty to me :P

And that's Mas trying to steal Titus' cake.. lol

All in all, it was a fun mini celebration cause Titus was happy (cause of his tail wagging) and we had fun feeding him cakes :P

Chocolate Fondue: The new foreplay

Just something that I've been wanting to write but just slipped my mind.

What's up with sex and food ? I mean when you flip through those magazine columns, the word "strawberry" , "chocolate" , "whipped cream" , "honey" , "champagne" and "ice cubes" will ALWAYS appear when some lonesome lost soul write in asking the expert on how to spice up their supposedly dull sex life.

I mean isn't it messy ?! Its common sense !!!!

Didn't your mama ever tell you, "Don't play with your food !"

I bet those sex-experts are never good boy/girl cause they never listen to their mama... LOL... Wonder how they actually get into university and graduate with a phD in such matters. Pfft !!

So anyway back to the topic... I mean imagine the cleaning up that you would have to do after the fun has ended... Chocolate-stained bedsheets, sticky body from honey, prolly whipped cream in your ear too... Eucks !

BUT obviously there are people who beg to differ and I've withnessed it with Tiff and Sheeli.

One fine Friday night, we were hanging out at Holland V, sipping tea over at Haagen Daz after a full dinner and just chilling, me doing People Watching and Tiff painting her nails with my new black polish (It was the trend back then !) and Sheeli just yakking away when suddenly Tiff nearly puke out her whatever-she-was-drinking-then and exclaims "EUCK, GROSS !!!!"

With my back facing the window (we were sitting outside), I followed Tiff's horrified eyes and turned around to see what the deal was...

To my utter HORROR, DISGUST and BEWILDERMENT I saw a couple whom were sitting at the window seat having a full blast tonsil-war !!!!! EEEEEEKKKKK..... *gasps in horror*

And the live soft porn show didn't just stop there....

Guess what was next ????

The porn girl was dipping her fingers into the pot of chocolate and fed it to the porn boy who licked her finger first and follow by intense sucking on it. You can practically see the lust coming out from the porn girl's eyes.

I mean WTF !?!?!? Its Holland V we're talking about and of ALL places, they gotta carry out their foreplay on such a family-oriented Haagen Daz where couple with kids are just next door. I mean that's so gross !!!!! I would prolly puke right beside them if I'm a kid.

I WISH I was a kid that night, so I could just stand beside their table and stared at them with goggled eyes... (I mean nobodys gonna scold a kid for staring right ? Cause they're supposed to be innocent !)

If that was not bad enough... Porn girl dipped a fruit into the chocolate, popped it into her mouth and have tonsil war with Porn boy where winner brings back the fruit as prize and naturally, Porn boy won the war.

I mean OMG... it was the grossiest thing I've ever seen in my life... And both Porn girl and Porn boy looks U-g-l-y...

If they look like Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, then the story would be different.... But they look U-g-l-y with a capital U.

Even the girls at the next table beside us was like... "OMG, thats so gross"... and we were like .. "yeah, they should get a room... they've been going like this since forever !"
And the girls looked on in utter disgust.

After a very long time, I guessed just right before they climaxed at Haagen Daz's plastic chair, they decided to call for their bill and exit to a car (I supposed) or prolly some Block's void-deck or staircase or something.... lol...

I hope they didn't shock any old ah mah or ah gong into their final hours. Poor thing....

So yeah, whats so great about sex and food ?

Cartier & Bvlgari

I was flipping through this month's Her World and saw a scrawny stick-insect... Oops, I mean a model posing in a picture with the MOST gorgeous background !

Reading through I realized that its the Bvlgari Resort in Bali ! (http://www.bulgarihotels.com/)

Its simply gorgeous ! It has this 1.5km length of private beach that nobody can reach... neither by foot nor by boat and the only way that one can reach there is by taking an inclined elevator in the Resort in order to get there. Its facing the Indian Ocean...

How romantic is that ?!?! Imagine lying on the beach and just listening to the sound waves and looking at the stars....

Is there any stars in Bali in the first place ? *blinks blinks* I mean we do not have any in Singapore except the Northern Star which is forever by the side of the moon... Other than that, we do not have any stars at all. How pathetic is our concrete jungle ? Since its so concrete already, I seriously think they should build some fake stars and shoot it up the sky or something...

Anyway back to my romantic gateaway, the resort also boast an infinity pool and its not hotel rooms but VILLAS. The cheapest is like $1200 in US DOLLAR !!!!!!! *screams in horror*

It has all sorts of services, like limousine, butler, private tour etc etc.... Prolly I will meet somebody rich and famous then we can be BFF !!! And then you guys will get to see me appearing in People magazine ! Hey I mean I sure as hell don't mind being Katie Holmes or Kate Hudson's sidekick ! *silly grin*

Ok now, let me tell you a love story:

One lovely day, Boy asked Girl out for dinner (which is very normal for them cause they've been going out for a while now).

"What shall we have for dinner ?" Asked the Girl.

"Lets go have BBQ Stingray and Fried Hokkien Mee at East Coast !" Replied the Boy.

"Ooooohhh... Good idea !!" Exclaimed the Girl.

So Boy and Girl has a satisfying dinner of BBQ Stingray, BBQ Chicken Wings and Fried Hokkien Mee at East Coast hawker centre...

Then Boy suggest, "Hey ! Since we're here, wanna go take a walk over at East Coast Park ?"

Girl replied, "Huh ?! I wouldn't mind but it's so late already..."

Boy pursued, "Awww...come on, I'll get you Gelare !"

"Hmmm... OK !" Girl grinned.

So hand in hand after Gelare did they strolled on the beach... As it was late, the beach was quite quiet and they listen to the waves and looks at the stars.

Suddenly, the Boy asked the Girl to close her eyes cause he've got a surprise for her.

"What is it ?!?!" Gushes the Girl.

"Don't peeeeeeekkkkk !!!!!" Warned the Boy.

"Okay, now open your eyes" Whispered the Boy.

Girl's jaws dropped and her eyeballs threatened to pop out of its socket.

Boy just grinned from ear to ear.

Girl asked, "What's that ?!"

Boy replied, "It's a little token to show you how much I love you"

Boy took out the famous Cartier Love cuff bracelet out from its red with gold frame box and close the cuff bracelet around the Girl's slender wrist. With that, he took out a little screw-driver like thing to tighten a screw on the bracelet.

And he declared, "This bracelet is just to show you that you've captured and lock my heart just like how I've locked this bracelet around your wrist. My love for you will stay forever just like this bracelet."

After the little speech, the Boy kept the "key" back into the box and slips it into his pocket.

When I first learned about this bracelet, I was like ... "OMG ! Thats the sweetest thing on earth !!!"

I adore the bracelet not because it's by Cartier but cause of the sentiment behind it. I think deep down inside me, I'm a hopeless romantic :P

I'm a sucker for such thing... Jewellery with meanings...

Just like another ancient jewellery that has been around: Claddagh Ring from Ireland.

It is a ring that looks like this:

A series of events (not unfortunate) !

Ok... Its been a few days since I last wrote cause I was just too darn tired to write...

I bought a new game for my DS called Hotel Dusk: Room 512... Which is a game that I've been looking and waiting to get it and finally I can get it pre-owned at only $39.90 !!!! From Silvery Note, www.silverynote.com they sell good and cheap first-hand and pre-owned games.

So I've been playing the detective game for the past few days if I can get my lids to stay open. Its a slow but good (so far !) detective game. And I'm quite satisfied with it :D

Yesterday was Titus' 2nd birthday and we totally forgotten about it hence we're gonna be having a belated birthday celebration for him on Saturday. Ordered a cake, pizza, cookies and meat balls for him from US Doggie Bakery, www.usdb.com.sg apparently its the only AVA approved dog bakery in Singapore and the price is reasonable too. For the stuffs that I've ordered, its only $30.10 which is relatively cheap cause I expected it to be much much more cause it specialised in pups stuffs.

So I'll definitely be taking pictures and post it here ! I'm keeping a lookout for miniature party hat so he can wear this Saturday evening.

OOOOOOOOooooohhhh....... The girls, Mas and I will be going to Omnimax Theatre this coming Saturday and we'll be catching the show about how human body works. Its been a VERY long time since I was there and I'm looking forward to it ! :D

I've already got plans to visit the Science Centre too and take the simulator ride. Kinda like reminiscing good old primary school times. I MISS my primary school life, it was the most fun 6 years of my life ! If only I can turn back time or something, I wouldn't mind living it all over again for that wonderful wonderful 6 years of my life :)

Planning to have a late night movie session of Hostel 2 with the girls on Friday... Scary !!!!

Anybody saw the first ?! It was gross, Rekha and I walked out half way through the show...

Saw Fantasic 4 last night, was very entertaining and good compare to Pirates of the Caribbean and can't wait for Transformers...

Gatsby = Condoms ?

They should have a Condom division with their new "Moving Rubber" advertisement.

My colleague, Tracey asked me a question yesterday, "Have you seen the Gatsby advertisement ?"

I was like, "Ooohh... yup yup ! He's a famous Japanese Actor, the so called Brad Pitt of Japan !"

Tracey: "What's Gatsby ?"

Me: "It's a pretty famous Japanese brand for hair gels, creams etc etc"

Tracey: "Oh... Cause Jeremy and I thought that its an ad for condoms, cause they said Gatsby rubber"

LOLOLOLOLOL....

My colleague is from Australia, so please pardon her if she do not know whats Gatsby :P

After hearing what she asked, I went online this morning to look for the Gatsby ad over at YouTube.com and well lets just say I couldn't blame her cause the packaging and the name of it does indeed sounds like a condom ad or something. LOL...

It doesn't show the whole bottled packaging of the hair gel and what kind of name is Rubber ? LOLOLOL...

And that guy.. managed to find that his name is Takuya Kimura... if by using Gatsby, I will be getting hair like HIS, I would happily skip using the new rubber on my head (geddit ?!?!) .. LOL.. (not as if I've got any, mind you !)

Its a horrible ad... and what's with the lots of hands with wierd colored fingernails moulding his face ? Is it an effort to show that no matter how much you mess with your hair, it will still remains the same ?

Bet by using Gatsby, it will make your head hard... Oops ! I mean the hair on your head hard... *chokes+laughs*

They should have a new tagline for the ad or something, like: Enjoy using Gatsby, cause it makes you haaarrddd..... *growls before bursting out laughing*

Freak show @ Orchard

*gasps*

I cannot believe the amount of freaks loitering at Orchard yesterday.

Mas and I were having our lunch at Xin Wang Hong Kong food place over at Cineleisure when I nearly choked on my char bee hoon with pork ribs when below sight greeted me outside the neoprint store.



We got a table that was very very near the entrance of the bistro, hence the view outside was great for People Watching !

The picture is not very clear cause I took it with my 2.0 megapixel phone. See that girl with purple hair ? And her gang of friends around her ?

Those were the first group of freaks that we saw yesterday.

Following Miss Purple, I also saw a human (not sure of its gender) with a thick white bandage across its nose... Another got a wierd shark-like hairstyle...

The worst were when I was entering the ladies, I got a shock by 2 gothic looking girls taking photographs of themselves in front of the mirror (in the toilet !) and looking like total freaks. One painted a thick band of black across her nose and the other was holding a fragile+eerie looking porcelain doll with black dress on one hand and both look utterly goth.

I mean what the heck ?! what is going on with kids nowadays ? Dressing up like that ?! I wouldn't even dress up like THAT when I was their age.

While walking around, we saw bunches of them going to the Youth Park and suspect that something must be going on there cause we saw some Sailormoon-like humans and just a bunch of wierdos and freaks.

Fast forward to today, was flipping through the papers and found out that there was some manga-connected event going on which explained the parade of freak show yesterday.

Guess that explains everything... Eucks...

Picknick

Remember the picnic that I mentioned that we will be going on the Vesak's Day holiday ?!?!

We did go to Palawan Beach at Sentosa... with our treasure chest looking cooler box which have half a dozen of beers, waters and soft drinks enough to feed more than 10 people and there were only 4 of us.. LOL...




The girls made sandwiches while I made small finger foods, think: cocktail sausauge with cheese on a toothpick & asparagus wrapped with strips of bacons...

I forgotten to bring Maltesers and Chickadees that I bought the previous day there so... we have nothing junkie to munch on :(

So we reached there before near noon with giant umberellas and treasure chest etc etc.... laid our food... take pictures.... tuck in.... and SUDDENLY...

All of us saw the dark clouds hovering near us and the waves getting choppier...

WHAT THE HECK ?!!?!? MY FIRST PICNIC !!!!! @#~!^&*%@#%#$^

So... as we're all SOOOOO prepared for everything, we naturally brought along umbeerellas too ! Not just any kind of umberella, mind you... but an umberella for GOLF ! those big umberella where you can shield 3 persons and will be the envy of everybody on a rainy day sorta umberella...

So armed with 2 such umberellas, we shield ourselves below this tent (that was already there on the beach) and drink ourselves silly while waiting for the rain to calm down...

While we plan our Plan B, we were doing some People Watching do.... Saw a bunch of bangladeshi or something stripping and dancing on the makeshift stage... Ok, maybe stripping is too strong a word to describe what I saw.

This is what I saw:
* I saw a Bangladeshi wrapped himself up with a towel and next thing you know, he've proceed to strip himself off his underwear/shorts/speedos.

Gross, right ?!?! I couldn't bear to watch... I just turned away after I saw the towel part, Mas filled me in on the rest and he've confirmed my suspicion on the stripping part.

Sooooo.... finally we abandoned our lovely picnic, with not much food left.... Lots of drinks left and paddle our way back to the car... Which is quite a distance away cause we parked at a different place so we have to hail a shuttle.

Here comes the bus ! So obviously we queue up to board the bus right ?!?!

BUT NO !!! While slowly walking to the bus, we were being SHOVED by a bunch of crass cheena people who is rushing for the bus as if their lives depend on it. As if its some bus that will bring them for reincarnation (if you follow the chinese mythology) and by missing it, they will be wandering ghouls forever on Earth.

I mean HELLO ! Whats wrong with queueing ? And what if really you do miss the bus ? Board the next one lah ! Not as if those shuttles around Sentosa are those bus like 191 where each interval is a freaking 45 minutes sorta stuffs, right ?!?! Pissed me off man....

Even the bus driver of the shuttle bus also cannot stand them, cause of an incident that we withnessed. This cheena guy keep asking the driver some question about their location, its the same kind of question over and over again (just different phrasing) till the uncle finally said "zai qian mian jiang da ge, ni kan bu dao ah ?" Translation: Its in front and so big, you cannot see is it ?

LOLOLOLOL.... I just feel like bursting our laughing and flashing 2 thumbs up to the uncle with a grin.

We still had fun that day... Took Luge and Skyrail where Sheeli just... hmmm.. whats the word best to describe her... AH ! "Petrified !"... Ooooohhh yes, she was PETRIFIED !!!!

She stayed like THAT throughout the whole ride.... Damned, come to think about it, I should have taken more pictures of her, zoomed up ! But as I said, I was terrified too so I don't dare to move too much cause I'm afraid I might just fall through or something. Like the whole chair might just drop into the bushes below us and I will break a neck or have a gazillion branches scratched my face, in which I will be disfigured for the rest of my life :((

So luckily, no such things happened and my face is still around :D

Just when you thought there's nothing much more to see in Sentosa (cause we saw quite a good amount of interesting stuffs), we saw THIS *points to below pictures* while resting and sipping on Mochas etc at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

A Scottish that got trapped in time and destination and not forgetting to mention: WEATHER ?!

You have NO idea how bloody warm it was at Sentosa the other day despite the rain. And when everybody is in their bikinis, bermudas, tees and mini skirts. We saw the above picture with her little boyfriend dating in Sentosa.

At the time when the picture was taken, little boyfriend has went off to, I presume: get drinks while little girlfriend is waiting to him to be back so they can have their mini candle-light lunch noodles.

I mean there's absolutely nothing wrong with dating at Sentosa and having mini candle-light lunch (minus the candle-light) cup noodles sorta thing, in fact I thought the idea is quite sweet... So we had quite a giggle over it and took photos ! No offense made to anybody but we just find it a novelty...
