I've already put my name in the waiting list for Cupcake Workshop Level 1 at Shermay's Cooking School. As the course is very popular, the class that I've got my name on is for next year.
You can check out the website, its very cool. A little bit expensive for a 3.5 hrs class but I find that its quite worth it cause it teaches you the basic of making a cupcake and macaron and you can just modify it yourself after that, the decorations on it look awesome too and for $129 nett, we get to look at demo+hands on+12 cupcakes to bring home+recipe pack+illustrated cupcake decoration guide... why not ? I find the price pretty reasonable, sorta :P
And when I say the cupcakes looks awesome, I seriously mean that... I mean check this out:
The pastry chef name is Joycelyn Shu and above is her work.. I mean isn't that gorgeous ?!?!?! I find it absolutely absolutely Gorgeous with a capital G !!!! But of course we wouldn't be baking anything THAT intricate but its still nice nonetheless, you're able to view the kind of cupcakes that we'll be baking at Shermay's Cooking School
